باقٍ هُنا
I remain here

لاطِمُ الصَّدرِ أنا
I am one who beats his chest in mourning

أحمي حِما ديني وأَفدي الوَطَنا
I defend my faith and give myself in sacrifice for the homeland

باقٍ هُنا
I remain here

لاطِمُ الصَّدرِ أنا
I am one who beats his chest in mourning

فَصَّلتُ مِن ثوبِ عزائي الكَفَنا
From the cloth of my mourning, I have sewn my shroud

جُنديٌّ إنِّيَ في جَيشِ الحسين
I am a soldier in the army of al-Hussein (a.s)

بأسي مِن حامِلِ رايةِ الحسين
My strength comes from the bearer of al-Hussein’s banner

نصري في السُّوحِ على كُلِّ العِدا
My victory in the fields against every enemy

ما كانَ إلا بنداءِ: يا حسين
Has been through the call: “Ya Hussein”

إن شاء الله
By the will of Allah

وفتحٌ قريب
And a near triumph

بِاسمِ علي
In the name of Ali

رايتي بِاسمِ علي
My banner is in the name of Ali

رغمَ أعاديها ستبقى تعتلي
Despite its enemies, it will always rise high

باسمِ علي
In the name of Ali

رايتي بِاسمِ علي
My banner is in the name of Ali

أشمَخُ في الحَربِ شموخَ الجبَلِ
In battle, I stand tall like a mountain

في الميدانِ سيفُنا سيفُ علي
In the battlefield, our sword is the sword of Ali

مَن يَهوي في رَكبِنا مُستَشْهَدًا
Whoever falls among us as a martyr

حتمًا يستقبلُهُ حِجْرُ علي
Will surely be received in the embrace of Ali

إن شاء الله
By the will of Allah

وفتحٌ قريب
And a near triumph

ذا بَلَدي
This is my land

وَسِلاحي بِيَدي
And my weapon is in my hand

مِن صاحبِ الأمرِ المفدَّى مدَدي
My support comes from the Master of the Age, the one for whom we would sacrifice ourselves

ذا بَلَدي
This is my land

وَسِلاحي بِيَدي
And my weapon is in my hand

يقَطعُ كفَّ المُستَبِدِّ المُعتَدي
It strikes down the hand of the tyrant aggressor

ذا حَقِّي وَعنهُ لا لَستُ أَحيد
This is my right, and I will never turn away from it

لو أبقى وَسْطَ الميدانِ وَحيد
Even if I remain alone in the battlefield

لو ألقى ما ألقى مِن مِحَنٍ
Even if I face whatever trials I must

(مثلي لا يبايعُ مثلَ يزيد)
“One like me will never pledge to one like Yazid”

إن شاء الله
By the will of Allah

وفتحٌ قريب
And a near triumph
