طوفان حيدر

القصيدة:

لنا في كلِّ طوفانٍ شراعٌ نوحُهُ حيدر
In every flood we have a sail, and its Noah is Haydar

أمام كلِّ فرعونٍ عصا موسى يدُ حيدر
Before every Pharaoh, the staff of Moses is in Haydar’s hand

ونارُ كلِّ نمرودٍ سلامٌ بردُهُ حيدر
And the fire of every Nimrod becomes cool and safe through Haydar

وكلُّ صنَمٍ قامَ هوى بسجدةِ حيدر
Every idol that rose fell by Haydar’s prostration

عرشُ كسرى باسمِهِ تَراه يهوي من علِ
The throne of Kisra falls from on high at the mention of his name

فبعرشِ الله نقشٌ لا فتى إلا علي
For upon the Throne of Allah is inscribed, there is no hero but Ali

مرحبٌ يدعو أهل من فارسٍ لم يزَلِ
Marhab still calls from the land of Persia

يجبنُ القوم ولا يدنو سوى وِلدِ علي
The people falter in fear, and none approaches but the son of Ali

إن تنصروا اللهَ بلى ينصرْكمُ اللهُ
If you support Allah, surely Allah will support you

حاشاه يُهزمُ الذي عليُّ مولاهُ
Far be it that one whose master is Ali should be defeated

عليُّ مَن عليُّ في الثوارِ معناهُ
Ali, whose very name among revolutionaries carries its meaning


إن كان في الأرضِ فإنَّ الارضَ في يد حيدر
If it is on earth, then the earth is in Haydar’s hand

إن كان في الجو فيمسكُ السما لنا حيدر
If it is in the sky, Haydar holds the heavens for us

إن كان في الماء فمَن أبٌ له سوى حيدر
If it is in the water, who is its father but Haydar

إن كان في الفضا ففُلكٌ ما سرى بِلا حيدر
If it is in space, no vessel sails without Haydar

وبأصلابِ الرجال بأسُ حيدرٍ سَرى
In the loins of men, the might of Haydar has flowed

ولِذاك يُعرفُ مُحِبُّهُ بينَ الورى
Thus his lover is recognized among mankind

كلما لاحَ فتىً في الحرب صاح لا فتى
Whenever a hero appears in battle he cries, there is no hero but Ali

وبها يَغلِبُ جيشاً ظنَّ لن يُقهَرَ
And by it he defeats an army that thought itself unconquerable

كلُّ خيبرٍ لنا كفٌّ له تُكشَف
Every Khaybar has a hand that will be unveiled for it

كلُّ صفينَ لنا عليٌّ المِصحف
Every Siffin has for us an Ali holding the Quran

لا نُبالي حيثُ حوصِرنا إذا الرايه
We do not fear when surrounded, so long as the banner

وجّهَت ارواحَنا للنجفِ الأشرف
Guides our souls toward Najaf al Ashraf


إذا اشتدّ البلا فينا حِمانا في الوغى حيدر
When trial intensifies upon us, Haydar protects us in battle

إذا طالت مآسينا فكاشفٌ لها حيدر
When our tragedies lengthen, Haydar is their reliever

إذا ما نالنا الضعفُ ننادي يا علي حيدر
If weakness touches us, we call, O Ali, Haydar

أولو البأسِ فلا نخشَ وأصلُ بأسِنا حيدر
We are people of might and do not fear, for the root of our strength is Haydar

يُعرَفُ سلاحُنا بقيّةُ سيفِ علي
Our weapon is known as a remnant of Ali’s sword

يُعرَف ترابُنا من فاضلِ طينِ علي
Our soil is known from the noble clay of Ali

تُعرفُ مآذنُ بلادِنا صادحةً
The minarets of our lands are recognized by their call

بأشهدُ أنَّ وليَّ اللهِ حيدرٌ علي
I bear witness that the Guardian of Allah is Haydar Ali

في قُرانا فتّشوا عن سرِّهِ الأكبر
In our villages, search for his greatest secret

ذاك كرارٌ وذا عليُّ ذا حيدر
That is al Karrar, that is Ali, that is Haydar

والمناجاةُ التي تلاها في الكوفة
And the supplication he recited in Kufa

عندنا في الليلِ صارت عِدّةَ العسكر
Among us at night has become the army’s provision
