I Made A LOT of Decisions… Some Questionable 😂 | Days in My Mom Life, Antiquing, Home & Hosting.

A few days in my life lately… and apparently I have been making A LOT of decisions. 😂
Some good decisions. Some questionable decisions. Some decisions that may or may not come back to haunt me. But decisions were made nonetheless!
I finally made a decision on a chandelier (because WHY is decorating so hard?!), made some decisions about the house, took you along while I continued trying to figure out our home decor, and even made a quick stop at an antique store because apparently I need MORE things to think about. 😂
Life is busy, so I'm learning to fit these little projects and home decisions in whenever I can.
And then there is the revolving door that is our house…
We hosted this past weekend, which meant stocking the fridge with drinks and goodies, making a few dishes, putting together a tablescape full of easy appetizers, and getting the house ready for everyone to come over.
I'm ALL about easy hosting. I love having people over, but I don't want to spend the entire day in the kitchen! So I kept things simple with easy appetizers and desserts, added some apple cider for a little fall feeling, and made one of my favorite desserts lately — chocolate lasagna. It was SO good.
Of course, I also forgot to put out some of the food I made.
Because apparently that's just part of my hosting process. 😂
Make the food → forget the food → discover the food after everyone leaves.
We had so much fun hanging out, eating, talking, and enjoying the weekend, and then it was time to reset everything again.
So naturally, I cleaned out the doom piles that had been quietly collecting more junk around the house, switched over my wallet, did some tidying, and even cleaned underneath my couch.
You know… the kind of cleaning that makes you feel a little better about your own house when you see what comes out from underneath mine. 😂

This video is a little days in my life / homemaking / home decorating / hosting / cleaning and resetting combination, and basically just a look at what life has been like around here lately.
Between Wolfgang's birthday party, decorating decisions, antique shopping, fall hosting, cleaning, organizing, home projects, and trying to keep up with the never-ending revolving door of family life, there is always something happening around here.
