I cannot BELIEVE how long I’ve been working on these ✨FREE✨ Bali Hai Nightstands 😅
And before you ask… yeah, I scammed myself 😂🤣
My confidence really said “you got this” and my brain said “girl… no you don’t”
The TIME. The supplies. The STRESS?!
Absolutely unhinged 💀
At this point, is it a smart business decision to keep going?
No ❤️
Am I going to finish them anyway out of pure stubbornness?
Also yes 🤣
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Stripped using green ez paint stripper
Scraped + wire brushed (with lacquer thinner backup 😅)
Veneer repairs with @jbweldaustralia
Water stain removal using @realmilkpaintco oxalic acid
Sanded with 120 grit using @festoolusa surfprepsanding + @3m abrasives
Prepped with @myoldmasters oil-based conditioner
Finished with @MinwaxUSA walnut gel stain
Now listen… I KNOW I messed up trying to go dark on blonde mahogany 😭
Desperation was driving the bus on that one
So HELP A GIRL OUT 👇🏼
