Today we’re getting the first trees planted at the new property! I’m planting a trio of Parkland Pillar birch trees from @FirstEditionsShrubsTrees and talking about why I’ve started paying more attention to AHS heat zones when choosing plants for our climate. Meanwhile, we’re finally tackling the termite problem at the farmhouse with a full treatment around and underneath the house. It feels so good to start protecting this old house while also getting the very beginning of the new garden in the ground!
