Here is the entire story..

This is Arianna Gajraj and Brandon Pirela, a Lake County couple police say were planning something far worse than a routine dispute.

What started as a reconnection between former partners quickly turned dangerous and it was not just talk.

After getting back in contact, their conversations escalated from personal issues to planning the murder of a friend using coded messages, multiple apps, and deliberate coordination.

They arranged to meet the intended victim under the pretense of hanging out. Instead, the encounter turned v!olent as shots were fired and the situation shifted from casual meet up to an attempted k!lling in seconds.

Outcome: The intended victim Deon Ramlagan survived, but the couple was arrested and charged with attempted first degree m*rder after investigators uncovered incriminating text messages, surveillance footage, and firearm evidence. The case revealed a rapid escalation from rekindled romance to calculated v!olence and left serious questions about motive, judgment, and intent.
