“Traitor”: Araghci apparently heckled by pro-war Iranians in the street

Footage circulating online showing what appears to be a group of hawkish pro-IRGC Iranians heckling Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, calling him “traitor, shameless, and dishonorable”.

The video comes amid reports of a severe rift among Iran’s leadership, with Araghci and Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf leading the “pragmatic” voice that seeks a deal with the US, and hardliners who are against “appeasement” of the United States.

The video was reportedly taken on Tuesday during Ali Khamenei’s funeral procession.
