A mother woodpecker noticed something was wrong with one of her eggs and ended up eating it. 🐦🥚 Not long after, the remaining eggs hatched into three tiny chicks, and she spent her days caring for them and bringing them food.
Everything was going well until a predator found the nest while the mother was away. The hungry babies mistook it for their mom returning with food, but sadly, one of the chicks was taken before she could return.💔
