Luxurious bedroom with emerald green epoxy flooring 💖✨
BuildAlchemy
In this video we are simply simulating the situation of creating an epoxy floor coating, and we are not trying to mislead anyone.
Stage 1: Filling the base color spots
Action: Thick pigmented compositions are poured onto a pre-prepared and leveled base.
Details: Contrasting colors are used — deep blue, golden yellow and turquoise. The compounds pour out of buckets into different parts of the room, forming large puddles.
Stage 2: Mixing and creating a marble pattern
Tool: Wide squeegees (mops with rubber attachment).
Process: Craftsmen stretch the compounds over the entire floor area, causing the colors to intersect. Due to the viscosity of the material, they do not mix until homogeneous, but form beautiful stains that imitate the texture of natural stone or the movement of water.
Stage 3: Application of decorative «veins» and foam effect
Action: A liquid white polymer is poured over the still wet colored layer of canisters.
Effect: The white composition spreads in thin jets and «threads», creating the effect of sea foam, clouds or thin veins in marble. This gives the drawing visual depth and a 3D effect.
Stage 4: Technical processing and polishing
Tool: Rotary scrubber/grinders.
Process: After the base layer has set, the surface undergoes mechanical processing. This is necessary to remove small defects, air bubbles and give the coating a mirror glossy shine.
Stage 5: Final arrangement (Furnishing)
Process: Installation of furniture and decorative elements.
Result: A bed with a velvet headboard to match the floor (emerald-turquoise) is installed in the room, thick curtains are hung and bedside tables are placed.
