After months of working around it, I finally tackled the six-foot project in my 1900s general store. It took 15 hours, a lot of sawdust, and a few sore ribs (literally), but this repair had to be done โ€” not just for the project, but for safety. This was one of the biggest structural fixes yet in my abandoned building renovation, and it changed everything.
