The Fish That Domesticated Humans! 🐟🙋‍♂️🤯

When divers collect sea urchins, they stop now and then to crack one open and feed it to the fish, but its actually for their own benefit.

That’s because it’s very difficult for fish to break open and eat invasive sea urchins. So the fish guide the divers to areas where the urchins have piled up and while the fish get full, the divers’ baskets also fill up.

However, these parrotfish have started to domesticate divers. Because these fish practice algae farming: they clean their gardens every day, remove snails, and chase away even the biggest thieves from their property. But the vile sea urchins eat plant roots and devastate vegetation, and whatever they dont eat, get destroyed by their spikes.

Even if the parrotfish pick up the urchins one by one or throw them into a neighboring field, dozens more appear the next day, leaving not even a single sprout behind. Therefore, when parrotfish see a diver collecting sea urchins, they swarm around them and try to take them to their own field. #interesting #interestingfacts #animals #shorts
