The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is finally here, and here's everything you need to know in just 60 seconds. First of all, this is Samsung's first proper wide Fold, and honestly, they nailed the design. It fits very well in hand and it's just 4.5mm when open and 9.7mm folded. There's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Samsung's new Flex Titanium hinge makes the phone feel even more durable and there’s even IP48 rating. But the best part starts when you unfold it.
You get a huge 7.6” 2K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is perfect for watching movies, gaming, or even reading articles. The crease is also very less noticeable than before, and with upto 3000 nits of brightness, this display looks fantastic. On the outside, it’s a proper 6.5” 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display protected by the Gorillas.
Inside, you get the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy paired with upto 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB storage. It also comes with the latest One UI 9 out of the box, and there are some cool new software features like MyFanCam and Now Nudge with Split-view. For the cameras, you get a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide, along with dual 10MP selfie cameras. There's also a big 4800mAh battery inside with 45W wired charging and 20W Wireless charging support.
