MAGA House Speaker Mike Johnson just went on Meet The Press — and ended up getting humiliated by the host!
WELKER: "You've called the national debt the largest threat facing the country. Why would you want to add to it with $5 checks?"
MIKE JOHNSON: "Uh, I don't want to. I guess we're gonna spend the whole segment talking about this one issue. You and I are wasting a lot of time this morning."
Pressed on the contradiction between calling the national debt the country's largest threat and backing checks that add to it, Johnson conceded he didn't want to — then complained about how much of the segment was being spent on the question.
