In this first vlog from Herat, Afghanistan, I begin my journey exploring one of the country’s most historic cities. I visit the famous Herat Castle, a place filled with centuries of history and incredible views that reflect the rich past of this region.
After that, I walk through a 600 years old traditional market, experiencing the local culture, colors, and daily life of Herat. However, during my vlog, something completely unexpected happened someone suddenly grabbed my camera and attacked me. It was a shocking moment that I never imagined would happen on my first day.
Despite that experience, I continued my journey and visited the largest mosque in Herat, where I witnessed a completely different side of the city. The people there were incredibly kind and welcoming, reminding me of the warmth and hospitality that Afghanistan is known for.
This vlog captures both the challenges and the beauty of traveling in a new place real, raw, and unforgettable.
