Spain has a 'right' to shoot down US aircraft  invading their airspace without consent

“They would have a right to shoot down American aircraft that were invading their airspace without consent” says Sir Richard Dalton, the Former UK ambassador to Iran when responding to the legalities of President Donald Trump’s claim that he would use Spain’s military bases without permission.

Dalton clarifies that he does not think this is likely, which is what President Trump’s assessment is based on.
