21 YEAR OLD BRIGADIER OF UTTAR PRADESH!!!
Prabhjot Speaks
A 21-year-old man was arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur for allegedly posing as an Indian Army Brigadier.
His name is Aryan Verma. Reports say he was living in Delhi and preparing for NEET, but in Shahjahanpur and nearby areas, he allegedly presented himself as a senior Indian Army officer.
According to reports, he used to wear an Army-style uniform, travel in a Tata Harrier SUV with military-style stars and flags, and was accompanied by two men whom he allegedly introduced as NSG commandos.
Army authorities had reportedly been receiving inputs about him for around two months. After that, Army officials and veterans laid a trap. They contacted him while posing as civilians and invited him to deliver a motivational speech to young defence aspirants at the Shaheed Museum inside Shahjahanpur Cantonment.
When Aryan Verma allegedly arrived at the venue dressed as a Brigadier, officials caught him.
Reports say fake ID cards, Army-style items, forged documents and a fake pistol were recovered from him. Investigators are now checking whether this was only a case of show-off and impersonation, or if a larger Army impersonation racket was involved.
In this video, we explain the full fake Brigadier case, how the Army set the trap, what was recovered, and why impersonating a defence officer is such a serious matter.
