POV: You're Playing the Hardest 2007 Flash Game

The Spiffing Brit
The Spiffing Brit
Today we return to the glorious golden age of Flash gaming to investigate Age of War, a perfectly balanced 2007 strategy classic with absolutely no exploits whatsoever. Except, of course, for the bit where we completely break it.

With nothing but questionable tactics, historical absurdity, and a suspicious quantity of tea, we shall guide humanity from cavemen throwing rocks to futuristic death machines deleting entire timelines. What begins as a simple battle of bases soon becomes a deeply British exercise in economic abuse, turret nonsense, unit spam, and making the game regret ever giving us control.

Is Age of War balanced? Probably not. Is it still one of the greatest Flash games ever made? Absolutely. Can we ruin it using strategy so cursed it belongs in a museum? Naturally.

Put the kettle on, prepare the nostalgia, and witness the most civilised act of digital warfare since someone discovered the special attack button.

Age of War is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits.
