A journalist challenged US President Donald Trump on why he was the only official still blaming Iran for the bombing of a girls' school in Minab and now suggesting that Tehran may have conducted the strike using a US-made Tomahawk missile.

Earlier, another journalist had asked about emerging footage showing a Tomahawk missile striking a facility in Minab, Iran, on 28 February, according to the open-source investigative group Bellingcat.

When asked, Trump claimed that Iran “also has some Tomahawks,” adding that “they wish they had more.” He continued, “But whether it’s Iran or somebody else, the fact that a Tomahawk— a Tomahawk is very generic. It’s sold to other countries.”
