Tree Removal Day at the Farmhouse

It’s tree removal day at the farmhouse! We’re taking down two huge, declining catalpa trees that were way too close to the house, and once they came down, we found just how hollow they really were, complete with carpenter ants and a few other surprises inside. We’re also grinding out several old stumps, saving a mountain of wood chips for the garden, and uncovering a few more clues about what may have been on this property years ago.
