Convincing my wife the 3D printer was worth it (Part 7) #3dprinting #3dprint #diy #shorts #3dprinted
Jake Ward
Welcome back to Part 7 of trying to convince my wife the 3D printer was a justifiable financial decision! The days of crawling on the floor to read the back of the router to guests are officially over.
After my first Comic Sans paper prototype was rejected, we're upgrading to a professional "JakeFi" internet plaque. I taught myself Inkscape, wrangled SVGs in TinkerCAD, and embedded hidden magnets mid-print to create a sleek, custom qr code fridge magnet. This was my first multicolor print, featuring a Wi-Fi login QR code on the front for the guests we like... and a reversible $5 Venmo request QR code on the back for the guests we don't.
Did it win the wife's approval so we can print another day?
