🇬🇧 UK Version (Original Ending):
Sarah never escapes. The freedom we see is just an illusion a final hallucination of a broken mind trapped in darkness. No hope. No rescue. Just pure psychological horror.
🇺🇸 US Version:
The ending was changed to give audiences a sense of escape. Sarah makes it out but the trauma follows her. A softer ending, but still unsettling.
