عجيبة ، غريبة ، رائعةٌ، فريدة

مـاذا أنــاديـهـا .. سمكمكي؟ سمكة؟
تعيش في الـمـاءِ .. كـأنــهـا ملـكة
سبحان خالـقـها .. سـريـعــةُ الحركة
فـي حـذرٍ لـكـن .. تـصـادُ بالـشبـكة
أميرةٌ ، تعيشُ في عالمها سعيدة

سمكمكي الأحلى ... سمكمكي الأطيب
هيّا بنا هيّا ... في نزهةٍ نذهب
وفي البحيرةِ لو .. في زورقٍ نركب
في الماء من حولي ... سمكمكي تلعب
أنيقة ، رقيقة ، صديقتي الوحيدة

Samkamaki, Makmaki, I love you, you are delicious
Delicious, tasty, good, and nutritious
With the letters S and M, and K and H Her beautiful name is written, the sweetest on the page
I shall call her... the princess of the sea
Come on let's eat her, come along with me
Wondrous, strange, wonderful, and unique What should I call her... Samkamaki? A fish?
She lives in the water... like a queen in a dish
Glory to her Creator... so fast she can glide
Carefully swimming, yet in the net she is tied
A princess, living in her world so happy Samkamaki the sweetest... Samkamaki the best
Come on, let's go on a trip with zest
And in the lake, if a boat we ride
In the water around me, my Samkamaki will hide
Elegant, gentle, my one and only friend
