Is living in an RV worth it? It's becoming more and more common to car camp or live in a vehicle these days, whether it's a van, RV or truck camper but it's becoming harder and harder to get away with for various reasons. RV's are very big, limited in adventure capability, expensive to drive long distances and have fewer available spots to stay in without being bothered or right next to somewhere loud and crowded. Camping isn't allowed nearly anywhere anymore with exception of campgrounds, BLM land and high mountain areas. Here's my thoughts on whether it's worth it to live and travel in an RV and what vehicle I think is best if you're looking for a true adventure.
