The video showcases an interactive exhibit at the Kulikovo Pole museum complex in Russia, dedicated to the historic 1380 Battle of Kulikovo. The installation lets visitors experience the physical strength required by medieval archers.

A colorful chart on the wall tracks how far the bow is drawn and playfully rates each attempt using historical and cultural references. The highest level represents an overshoot, meaning the shot went too far and missed the target. Just below it is a slightly off shot, followed by the perfect bullseye zone.

Lower levels reflect weaker pulls with humorous labels. One playfully suggests a lack of strength, while others indicate a near miss or a complete undershoot where the arrow falls short.

The chart becomes more creative in the middle and lower tiers. One level references early East Slavic history with “The shot of Prince Svyatoslav in his campaign against the Drevlians.” Another draws from folklore: “The Frog Princess will die unmarried,” referencing the tale where a prince shoots an arrow to find his bride. A poetic line follows: “The arrow was lost in the sea — a sorrow, but not a grief,” alongside a tier that names Apollo, the Greek god of archery, as your patron.

The lowest levels are reserved for the weakest attempts. One quotes the Russian cartoon Winnie-the-Pooh with “Piglet — and he missed!” The very bottom encourages relentless training, offering an ironic consolation prize: “You are a peacemaker.”
